| Ensure that the technical and engineering requirements of contracts are fully complied. | |||||
| - Prepare project technical specifications - Prepare technical work packages for execution by in-house and external resources - Co-ordinate the delivery of engineering works on the project - Undertake design and checking duties - Review all completed design, manufacture, installation and testing works before delivery to the customer - Provide the company’s technical interface to the customer for all project matters, including technical queries, requests for information, etc. - Ensure that all designs and works are handed over to the customer with the necessary documentation compliant with contract and statutory requirements - Provide support to the Planning and Commercial functions as required appertaining to technical matters - Attend customer meetings and deputise for the Project Manager as required - Deputise for Engineering Manager – Design when required - Comply with GE Corporate & GE - Transportation UK Environment, Health & Safety requirements at all times. | |||||
| - Educated to Degree level or equivalent - Previous experience of engineering design, manufacture and installation - Current PTS Certificate | |||||
