Inside Sales Account Manager - Systems

Responsibilities:

Key Role Purpose

Sell Oracle Systems (Hardware) products by identifying new prospects, building relationships, determining needs and managing the opportunity throughout the entire sales process to completion and close. Working closely with and utilising all other Oracle resources such as Technology Sales Reps, Sales Consultants, Demand Generation Reps, Business Development Managers to create demand for Oracle Systems Solutions.


Responsibilities
  •     Carry and achieve an Oracle Systems revenue and margin targets
  •     Generation, development and management of sales leads
  •     Ownership of Oracle Systems deals in his/her patch
  •     Execute business and territory plans which focus on Oracle Business activities
  •     Demonstrate clearly and continually a "customer centric" approach during all customer interactions
  •     Manage a commercial relationship with the customer and maintain customer data through the identification and evaluation of - customer’s product requirement
  •     Work with supporting Systems Sales resources (ex. Sales Consulting, Product Managers, Business Development Consultants) to create demand for agreed Oracle Systems solutions, and assist in the identification and implementation of effective Sales Programs to generate new business opportunities
  •     Educate and work with the Oracle Partners on where and how to identify opportunities with new and current customers regarding the Oracle Systems solution offering.
  •     Pro-active, consistent communication via e-vehicle (eblasts, web seminars, remote demos, Proof Of Concepts)
  •     Demonstrate knowledge of market and IT industry
  •     Sales planning and forecast management through the collection of feedback, market information and industry trends, product requirement and competitive issues
  •     Build the value proposition for the customer
  •     Preparation of the necessary "clean" paperwork in order to get the orders processed and shipped to the customer
  •     Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle Systems products, as well as competitive products and technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

Requirements

Essential
  •     Ability to show successful achievement of individual software sales targets.
  •     4+ years IT industry experience with comprehensive Oracle Technology experience – preferably Oracle Systems experience
  •     4+ years in Technology sales, sales consulting and marketing
  •     Ability to articulate and credibly discuss industry issues, trends and business solutions with customers / prospects
  •     Ability to accurately forecast, and successfully close new business.
  •     Business development, prospecting and presentation skills.
  •     Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development.
  •     Must be able to work with teams to help execute strategies, provide business solutions and be able to assist other Technology sales representatives towards Oracle Systems revenue
  •     Ability to analyse, and document potential customers’ requirements and position Oracle Systems solutions to address such needs
  •     Competitive product knowledge (Dell, IBM, HP Etc.)
  •     Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity
  •     Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organisation
  •     Ability to work independently and with a team
  •     Ability to develop relationships with Partners, Oracle Field Account Managers and with internal support staff.
  •     Ability to work to plan and execute multiple projects in parallel, and work to a deadline to achieve project milestones
  •     Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills, both written and verbal as well as training skills
  •     Ability to confidently communicate at multiple organisation levels – including C-Level
  •     Strong ability to influence people and align remote teams to achieve agreed goals and objectives
  •     Proactive, creative and innovative thinker
    
Desirable
  •     Degree qualified
  •     Knowledge of Oracle Systems products

Key KPI’s
·         12 Hours of talk time/week. Since this role is telephone based, this KPI is of prime importance.
·         Pipeline generation with cold calls as well as calling existing customers.
·         Delivering internet Seminars/demos to the customers.
·         Target Achievement in designated territory.
