BROADCAST NETWORK ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To provide project management services and related activities in broadcasting infrastructure systems inclusive of but not limited to :
• Single point of contact for assigned projects.
• To lead the delivery of the projects including, developing of project plan, conduct regular project meeting and progress reporting till project closure.
• Participate in network design review with vendors and customers.
• Installation, configuration and implementation.
• Testing, integration and migration
• Project commissioning, documentation and handover
• To provide 24 x 7 on call and on site engineering support and resolution services and follow up with product vendors on unresolved trouble tickets till a satisfactory solution is concluded.
• Conduct preventive maintenance services.

REQUIREMENT

• Tertiary Education in Digital broadcasting or Data Communications.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience in RF and terrestrial broadcast transmission system, TV broadcast head end and TV transmission station. Knowledge and experience in IP broadcasting, coverage planning and coverage prediction will be an added advantage.
• Experience and capable to manage projects independently for broadcast service providers.
• To manage customer expectations to secure customer satisfaction in relation to project delivery.
• Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, initiative and commitment.
• A team player and excellent people management skills.
• Possess PMP certification, knowledge in LAN, WAN technologies and Internet infrastructure will be an added advantage.
